Once upon a time.
When Mother Earth hung in the Sky like a bright new gem, watching as the deities played forgetting all about her. She sighed in loneliness, not knowing how to get their attention.
As she hung there bored and lonely she noticed a bright glow revolving in the distance. A deep resonating voice greeted her from the brightness. She looked closer and smiled back. Another voice greeted her from the faint glow that was revolving around her. Earth, Sun and Moon started to talk.
The three conversed for years about the deities, their antics and how they seemed to never take notice of them. As they talked they became close friends, yet they felt that something was missing as they circled the sky. Soon, there was a stirring on the surface of Mother Earth. The seas shifted, lands moved, plants with the help of Father Sun began to grow. With all this activity Mother Earth needed time to dream, out of her need, darkness came, bringing in night and day.
The Sun and Moon were excited for Mother Earth, and their part in her growth. Soon creatures wandered about on the surface and swam in the waters of Mother Earth. All three were thrilled with their progress and kept a close eye on them.
Unknown to the three, the deities had taken notice of their friendship and their new beginnings. They to have become bored with their activities and wanted something new to participate in. They quietly kept watch on the threes progress and began to talk amongst themselves about how they could help.
About that time, springing from the friendship of the three, woman had begun her time on Mother Earth. Earth, Sun and Moon were in wonder of this new being who walked upon her. They did all that they could to nurture her beginnings.she had all that she could want. Plenty to eat, warm climes and mild inclement weather to add a touch of mystery, a large variety of animals to keep her from becoming complacent. Yet they noticed she seemed unhappy and were concerned as she began to slip away and take little interest in anything around her. They feared they would lose her.
The Deities decided it was time to step in. They admitted to the three, that they had been watching and wished to help as they had become most fond of the three and the new entities on Mother Earth. All three agreed that they needed help as they all felt that there was little time left for their child. Long into the night did they talk and bring forth ideas. Finally, after much listening, Isis stepped forward with her idea. She felt that this child was lonely for another of her kind and needed love as they all did. In the blink of an eye.another appeared on the surface of Mother Earth, for Isis had been watching longer than the others and had the new being ready and waiting. He, for yes it was male stepped forward and soon the two found each other. All watched in wonder as they lived their lives and new beings were born to populate Mother Earths surface. Each wished to be a part and vowed to help in any way that they could and so took a hand in guiding in any way they could. So began the world, the human race and spirituality.
